How To Update The Theme

There are two ways to update your theme. The first and easiest method is to simply enable automatic theme updates using the theme setup wizard. The second is the traditional method, using FTP, that involves manual steps. Before you update, it is best practice to always check our update notes and make a backup of your theme folder, files and database. See the information below on how to manually update the theme.

Manual Update

This method requires more steps and manual work. First, you need to manually download the new theme package from your ThemeForest account. Once you have the new theme package, you can choose to upload the theme via WordPress or via FTP. Please see the information below on how to download new files, and install it via WordPress or via FTP.

How To Download New Theme Files From ThemeForest

  • Step 2 – Click the Download button choose to either download the ‘Installable WordPress file’, which is just the WordPress file, or choose to download ‘All Files & Documentation’ which is the entire package.
